Champions Arsenal ended their 22-year wait to become English champions last month, and Mikel Arteta's team are among the clubs waiting to discover their schedule.

The 2026/27 Premier League fixtures have been announced ahead of what promises to be another thrilling campaign.
Kicking off the season on TNT Sports and HBO Max will be Hull City welcoming Manchester United in a huge clash for the newly promoted side on Saturday, August 22, at 12:30 UK time.
Elsewhere, champions Arsenal begin their title defence and get the season going with a Friday night fixture at home to Coventry City on August 21 at 20:00.
There are a host of tantalising games on the opening weekend of the 2026/27 season. Following Hull v Man Utd, Everton host Crystal Palace, Ipswich take on Sunderland and Nottingham Forest play Leeds in the first round of 3pm fixtures on Saturday.
Tottenham Hotspur will then hope to usher in a new era under Roberto De Zerbi in the Saturday evening slot away to Brentford.
The thrills continue on Sunday. The 2pm fixtures see Brighton host newly-crowned Europa League champions Aston Villa as Manchester City play Bournemouth at home in their first Premier League game since the summer departure of legendary manager Pep Guardiola.
Newcastle United and Liverpool then square off in a blockbuster clash at St James’ Park before Chelsea travel to Fulham on Monday night to round out the opening weekend.
TNT Sports and HBO Max will also bring you two full rounds of midweek fixtures during a crucial time of the season.
The first of these will be in February and will be followed by another in March.

Ezri Konsa was sent off for Aston Villa midway through the second half, but Newcastle United could not make their extra man count in a breathless 0-0 Premier League draw at Villa Park.
The home defender was handed a red card by referee Craig Pawson after hauling down Anthony Gordon on 66 minutes after the Newcastle forward, who had replaced the absent Alexander Isak up front, looked set to race clear on goal from Anthony Elanga's pass.
As it was, Unai Emery's side held out without too many concerns against a slick but wasteful visiting team, who dominated the first period and should have been ahead at half-time.
Meanwhile, Liverpool beat Bournemouth 4-2, Arsenal won 1-0 at Man Utd, Man City drubbed Wolves 4-0, Chelsea drew 0-0 with Crystal Palace and Spurs thumped Burnley 3-0.

A key feature of the calendar, however, is the continued commitment to easing fixture congestion during the festive period.
Over Christmas and New Year, the Premier League have confirmed that no two match rounds will be scheduled within 60 hours of one another, ensuring clubs and players are afforded adequate recovery time during one of the busiest stretches of the campaign.
