Wembley awaits, with the semi-finals of the Emirates FA Cup fast approaching. Manchester City will face Southampton, who knocked out Arsenal in the previous round. Eight-time champions Chelsea take on Leeds United, who beat West Ham on penalties after squandering a 2-0 lead in stoppage time. The semi-final fixtures will take place on April 25 and 26 live on TNT Sports and HBO Max.

Southampton will take on Manchester City in the Emirates FA Cup semi-final at Wembley while Chelsea draw Leeds United who beat West Ham United in a thriller earlier.
The Saints caused the shock of the round, taking down Premier League leaders Arsenal and will have to beat seven-time winners City to reach a second final in 10 years.
Leeds, in their first semi-final in 39 years, must get past eight-time champions Chelsea to reach their fifth FA Cup final and first since 1973.
The fixtures will take place on Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26 at Wembley Stadium live on TNT Sports and HBO Max.
The final is scheduled for Saturday, May 16 - also at Wembley.

We started with 747 sides. We are down to four.
Manchester City were the first side to book their place in the semis thanks to a comprehensive 4-0 victory over Liverpool, piling more pressure on Arne Slot.
Chelsea swept aside League One's Port Vale 7-0, a much-needed distraction from their stuttering league form and drama with captain Enzo Fernandez.
But the biggest headline yesterday was Championship outfit Southampton beating Premier League pacesetters Arsenal 2-1 to continue an unbeaten streak stretching back nearly three months now.
Leeds were the final team to make it, after edging an absolute thriller, beating West Ham on penalties.

How does the draw work?
The four balls entered into the draw are numbered as follows, with Ally McCoist selecting them at random to set the semi-final ties:
1. Southampton
2. Chelsea
3. Manchester City
4. West Ham United or Leeds United
The draw will take place after the conclusion of West Ham v Leeds, which is level halfway through extra time.

Mikel Arteta told his Arsenal players to ”make yourself accountable and deliver” after a 2-1 defeat to Championship side Southampton in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
The loss at St Mary’s on Saturday evening saw The Gunners eliminated from another English cup competition, after they were defeated by Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final two weekends ago, and their frustration was evident when Gabriel Martinelli shoved the referee Samuel Barrott in an attempt to take a quick free-kick.
The Premier League leaders were heavy favourites going into the game but they fell behind to a Ross Stewart opener in the first half, before striker Viktor Gyokeres equalised on 68 minutes.
Shea Charles then won the match with five minutes of regulation time remaining, sending Arteta’s side out of the tournament.

Southampton are in their third FA Cup semi-final in 10 years and are the only non-Premier League side still left in the tournament.
Their surge in form in 2026 has pushed them to the brink of the play-off spots as they hope to bounce back to the Premier League.
They withstood a fightback at Doncaster in the third round to win 3-2 before edging past Leicester in extra time to set up a clash with Fulham.
After a heap of pressure from the Cottagers, Ross Stewart's stoppage-time penalty clinched victory and a quarter-final spot.
Few would have backed them to get past Premier League leaders Arsenal, but the Saints played with bravery and intent and ran out deserved 2-1 winners.

How did Chelsea reach the semi-final?
The third round was Liam Rosenior's debut as Chelsea manager, but there were no early jitters as his side thrashed London rivals Charlton 5-1 at The Valley.
Next up was a trip to Hull, where they bagged an equally comfortable 4-0 victory, before needing two extra-time goals to get past Wrexham 4-2 in a thriller.
A 7-0 win over League One's Port Vale in the quarter-final secured a seventh semi-final appearance in the last 10 years.
The Blues are averaging five goals per game and over 73% possession per match thus far, but are yet to face a Premier League side.

How did Manchester City reach the semi-final?
Despite their league form wavering, Man City have been ruthlessly consistent in the FA Cup this season.
They put Exeter to the sword in a 10-1 victory as Antoine Semenyo debuted in style, before avoiding a potential banana peel when they beat local rivals Salford City 2-0.
Newcastle were next to try their hand at beating the Citizens, but Pep Guardiola's side shook off a slow start to triumph 3-1.
Yesterday they welcomed Liverpool to the Etihad and Erling Haaland was at his imperious best as they thrashed the Reds 4-0.

When did each team last win the FA Cup?
With eight titles, Chelsea are the most successful team remaining in the tournament. They last lifted the trophy back in 2018, beating Manchester United 1-0.
Manchester City follow closely behind with seven, most recently in 2023 as part of their treble-winning season.
West Ham's most recent of three triumphs came in 1980, but they were famously minutes away from winning in 2006, only to be denied by a Steven Gerrard screamer in stoppage time.
Leeds (1972) and Southampton (1976) have one title each. Southampton have been wearing a 50-year anniversary kit in the competition this season, will it continue to bring them luck?

Martinelli shows 'frustration' by shoving referee
Gabriel Martinelli has been no stranger to controversial incidents this season.
The Arsenal forward found himself facing an online backlash when he pushed Liverpool's Conor Bradley while the defender was down with what turned out to be a serious injury in January.
Martinelli later apologised, claiming it was a mistake in the heat of the moment, and all was forgiven.
But another pushing incident got the Brazilian into trouble late in Arsenal's shock Emirates FA Cup quarter-final defeat to Championship side Southampton on Saturday night.
