Michael Olise wants Bayern Munich talks amid Real Madrid interest, Barcelona make 'final push' to sign Julian Alvarez - Euro Transfer News

The forward moved to the Bundesliga side from Palace in 2024 for a reported fee of €60 million (£51m).

In the last two years, he has taken his game to another level, racking up 42 goals and 54 assists from just 107 appearances for PSG across all competitions.

Naturally, that has attracted plenty of attention from across Europe.

AS reports that the 24-year-old, who is at the World Cup with France, now wants to speak to club chiefs about his future.

It comes after Real Madrid issued a public statement on Olise, denying they had made any contact with the France international.

"Olise wants to clear up any uncertainty, and find out where he stands with the club in Munich," they report.

"[He wants] to know first-hand how Bayern views him after two seasons wearing their jersey, and proving he belongs among the world's elite players.

"He is well aware that several clubs are keeping a close watch on him, and what he might do once the World Cup concludes.

"So far, the forward has not made any public statements; he intends to address the matter directly with Bayern’s leadership during that upcoming meeting."

ESPN and Fabrizio Romano believe that Ajax have set their sights on Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

The 34-year-old spent a portion of the 2025/26 campaign on loan with Girona after finding his way into the first team blocked by Joan Garcia.

He has otherwise been at Camp Nou since making a 2014 move from Borussia Monchengladbach.

But with opportunities limited under Hansi Flick, the German international could make another temporary departure.

Ajax have reportedly submitted a "formal proposal" to Barcelona as they look to strike an agreement over a loan switch.

ESPN continues: "Ter Stegen, 34, is open to a temporary move after losing his place at Barca to Joan Garcia, and also falling behind veteran Wojciech Szczesny in the club's goalkeeping hierarchy.

"Ajax head coach Michel briefly worked with Ter Stegen at Girona, where the goalkeeper was limited to just two appearances under the Spaniard due to a hamstring injury.

"Clubs from England, Germany and Turkiye have also shown interest in Ter Stegen, but none of them are currently as advanced in negotiations as Ajax."

Barcelona are "making a final push" to sign Julian Alvarez from La Liga rivals Atletico Madrid, according to Marca.

It comes after England striker Harry Kane opted to remain at Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.

In May, Atletico Madrid poked fun at Barcelona with a series of social media posts amid reported interest from the Catalan club.

Alvarez has been the subject of much speculation already this summer, with Premier League champions Arsenal also strongly linked with a move.

Marca writes: "Barcelona's main objective in this summer's transfer market is to sign a center forward. Robert Lewandowski's departure forces the club to replace him with a reliable player, as the Polish striker was known for guaranteeing around 30 goals per season. One of the names that has surfaced is Harry Kane; however, at this time that option is completely ruled out.

"Several factors have led Barcelona's sporting director to make this decision. First, the club's primary target for that position is Julian Alvarez. It's true that the situation is complicated because Atletico Madrid refuses to sell the player to the Catalan club. However, Deco is preparing a final push, and Barcelona is confident that Atletico will ultimately decide to negotiate. That said, it won't happen before the World Cup is over."
